Opening sequences and setting- Mad Max fury road

The first movie I will be looking at is Mad Max fury road


From this trailer I have analysed in which way the scene and setting is presented:

• Use of narration creates brief understanding between audience and main character
• Use of the font shows erosion, damaged, etc
• Image of Nuclear fallout hints that there might have been some nuclear disaster

• During negation constant references to radioactivity, nuclear, death.
• Sudden cut to establishing shot. showing desolate, apocalyptic setting
• Main Character wearing tattered cloths, gives impression of being a wonderer 
• Shot of double headed lizard which can easily be associated with Mutations due to Radioactivity

• Lizard is stopped and eaten showing lack of food In the dystopian future presented by the opening scene
• establishing shot interrupted by hostile characters showing he is not alone and introducing audience to scene of changer 

• Extreme long shot of chase seen shows the vast empty space which the scene is being shots. 
• Gives a sense that there is no were to run.
• Dust constantly hindering the vision of the audience. Further emphasising lack of nature.
