Opening sequences and character-Introduction

After analysing opening sequences I have seen that the introduction usually consists of exposing the main character to the audience.

I will be researching two separate movies from two separate genres, one of which will be "The greatest showman" which is a musical and also "Don't mess with the zohan"which is a comedy
